中國的官方神學院如南京金陵神學院、浙江神學院等培養的傳道人，主要在「三自」教會牧會，一般「家庭教會」認為是政府辦的，不會接受他們。因此「家庭教會」有自己的培訓班及師資來培育傳道人。我們特別為在北京地區許多不同教會及宗派所辦的神學院來代禱，求主幫助所有接受裝備的學員們，不單單有聖經知識，更能有生命的改變。

教會的傳道人需要有系統地學習相關神學和人文課程，一般要兩年的時間。「家庭教會」培訓班是培訓傳道人的學校，一個班有30～50人，學完之後可取得傳道資格，在 「家庭教會」做專職傳道人。我們要為所有接受培訓的神學生們祈求。年輕一代在個性、耐性及待人處世上都尚未臻成熟。求主賜給每一位接受神學裝備的神學生智慧與悟性，讓他們不但有主的謙卑虛己態度，更有樂意服事主和救人靈魂的生命見証。

在城市教會中，有一種特殊的形式，即城市新興教會。她與傳統的「家庭教會」及「三自」教會都不太一樣。最近15年來，由於城市化和商品經濟的發展，在城市中出現了以年輕的基督徒為主的教會。許多教會中以姐妹居多，弟兄甚少。我們禱告所有信主的妻子在家能有美好的見証，也能影響她們的丈夫接受福音。更為城市教會中的夫妻禱告，求主幫助他們都是信主的好伴侶，讓主大大使用他們成為教會事工的幫助。

中國的城市新興教會以年輕人為主。他們的文化程度相對而言較高，我們為一些教會有大量的知識份子向主感恩。他們的思維比較開放，不像老一輩那樣封閉狹隘，他們和社會各界、與知識份子及政府比較容易對話，也不盲目為他群體的意見所左右。農村「家庭教會」因教育文化水平不高，極易有個人崇拜的傾向，非常容易產生所謂邪教、異端的問題。求主賜下分辨的靈及忠心有見識的牧者照管羊群。

城市新興教會以年輕人為主，他們與老一輩不一樣，與「三自」教會也沒有多少歷史恩怨。由於人數又相對比較少，也不隸屬其他更大的「家庭教會」，因此被 稱為「獨立教會」。城市新興教會具有其特徵，雖然獨立於「三自」教會，其實更具備實質的「三自」色彩。我們為年輕信徒的牧養需要來禱告，他們的生活非常忙碌，要工作又要照顧孩子，他們亟需婚姻家庭方面的輔導，和兒童教養和親子關係等的培訓。
